A little bit about me . . .
I originally graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Therapy with a specialization in traditional painting and ceramics.
After graduation, I did several shows, a number of commissioned paintings, and even taught a small painting class. But I was kind of drifting, unsure what direction to pursue. At that same time, I was also spending long hours playing video games. I was enthralled by the intricate, complex worlds, creatures, and characters that populated them. Looking back, it seems so obvious, but this was the first time it occurred to me:

“Artists helped create these games.”

Almost immediately, I enrolled in the beginning 3D modeling class in the Interactive Media program at Columbus State Community College. I had found my direction. Creating art and designing art for video games and other forms of interactive media fit my experience, ideas, and sense of playfulness so well you could almost hear the "click". I dove into my studies, graduating December 2015.

Since that time, I have been very fortunate to work with Multivarious Games (MVG), Csurivision, and Bawden Studios, all small indie development studios in Columbus, Ohio. I've helped with two of MVG's games in many different capacities. I am currently working with Bawden Studios on several exciting new game ideas. Additionally, I lent some design, asset creation, and additional art for Csurivision creating a game with Charles Csuri, one of the pioneers of computer art, based on his animations and design.
I get to work with amazingly talented people of varied backgrounds including industry innovators, artists, writers, composers, musicians, and community leaders, to name a few. Being an interactive media artist/developer is an amazing occupation. I get to make characters to interact with and worlds to discover.
